Everyone else seems to be doing it.

So I’m going to say sincere New Year stuff, too. I have decided that this year I’m going to be expecting. I’ve been literally doing that for half of the last couple years, but my biggest temptation this year is to have incredibly low expectations, in fact, I’ve been letting my fears and negations frequently turn me into a person I don’t want to be. I no longer want to assume that anything outside of my control, that I forget or that I’m unaware of could turn my life into a horrible nightmare. I am going to not only expect that nothing awful will happen and act accordingly, but my resolution is to start expecting again. From now on I will expect good, amazing things to happen, maybe or maybe not on the timeline or in the form I might guess, but they will be there and I will do what it takes to find them, enjoy the crap out of the time I am allowed with them and make even more to share.
